			<title>Hope &amp; Change Arent Just Political Buzzwords</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Hope-Change-Arent-Just-Political-Buzzwords.html</link>
			<description>
Politicians are using the rhetoric of hope and change to win primaries and caucuses around the nation, and the message is certainly resonating with the voting public. Nevertheless, should the average voter wait for a political figure to attempt to instill either or it is up to each person to discover the power of hope and to learn to use it in order to create the change they want for the country and for themselves?

Auriela McCarthy, author of The Power of the Possible, says, Change and our readiness for it is one of lifes great mysteries. Were ready when were ready and not a moment before. Whether it is a life partner or best friend or whether it is a battle with addiction or a war with another country - change will only come when the people needing it feel seen, heard, understood and accepted.

As a result, Auriela stresses that it is impossible to ever change somebody else, be it through force or the best of intentions. However, she does reveal, You can be someones REASON to change. Does that mean a powerful leader who inspires and brings hope to apathetic people can be that reason? Absolutely! asserts Auriela. And so can the person you love and care about. But the choice to change will still be yours.

She also stresses that every person, not just the President, needs to learn how to apply hope in their everyday lives.

Auriela insists that hope is not just a fallback during tough times or only for children and the elderly. Fight your cynicism, Auriela advocates, Refuse to be hopeless, and start dreaming against all odds. Allow hope to take you over. Its a tremendously powerful tool of manifestation. She believes this is why people are drawn to positive leaders like Dr. King, Gandhi, Buddha or Jesus Christ; because they are the disseminators of hope in times of joy and of sorrow. Feeling hopeful even in the darkest moments; thats powerful. Learn to hope and make it a part of your life. See things shifting and changing for the better.

Discover hope and you will discover the strength to change your life. You will start seeing the possibilities. Because Hope is intricately linked to both the Power of the Possibility and the Power of the Future. Hope makes it possible to forgive the past and to let it go, it replaces apathy and cynicism and heals the old wounds. We begin to heal our relationships, we begin to heal our lives, says Auriela. So how does this come into play when picking a friend, much less a President?

McCarthy contends every being is a source of energy and their resonance is the result of all of the energies they carry at any particular moment. And while their resonance is never static, the main tone of it remains unchanged. There are people we call positive and those we call negative. Theres also everyone else in between. What matters is how strong their resonance is, wherever it falls on the continuum. The stronger it is the more power it has to affect us. Could this explain why people are drawn to certain candidates or people?

The power of resonance can clarify why it is important to be surrounded by those who are eternally optimistic about life. Stay away from people who love to blame everyone and everything. Protect your resonance from them. Theyll bring you down, says Auriela.

Stump speeches will continue to include hope and change, but the status quo will remain in place until the politician, country or individual goes beyond the words and actually embraces the concepts.

For this to happen, Auriela says, It has to start with us. We need to discover that we matter, our lives matter and our needs and wants matter, even though they may not be the first priority. Then what happens in the world starting with our country will matter as well. As related to politics, this means more people voting, less indifference about who wins an election and the public trusting the candidate for which they voted. It all culminates in, once again, remembering what it means to be an American. Its the American spirit. It takes my breath away, concludes Auriela.

			<title>The Distance Learning Environment</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/The-Distance-Learning-Environment.html</link>
			<description>
I thought learning over the Internet would be fiddly and counter-productive. My course was in Internet Marketing, so it would seem reasonable to go about my studies in a virtual learning environment. But Im used to sitting in a class or tutorial with an actual real person to give a lecture and to respond right there and then to any questions. But e-learning works as well as, or better than the traditional college environment, as long as you go with the right provider of it.

Although, according to some reports, students can find the traditional classroom environment intimidating, my fears about a virtual learning environment would be the frustration of working the technology and lack of human face-to-face interaction.

My first class consisted of a web broadcast followed by emailed lecture notes. It was strange knowing that my fellow students could have been anywhere in the UK, though refreshing to know that this was a personalised class I could have interaction with the teacher. This raises the importance of writing emails in a clear and engaging manner, which you would do if you were that focused on your particular field of study.

Once youre over the technology, which is pretty straightforward and a means to an end, (rather than for the sake making your online course look modern and innovative!) you just get on with what youre learning.

Interestingly, you almost forget you are doing your course in a non-traditional format. The classes and tutorials are simply a means to get information in an accessible form. I would compare technological frustrations in an online one to one tutorial to noise from building works interfering a tutorial when going in to a real college. Nothing is ever going to be perfect in education, and the e-learning environment is no different.

Getting resources through a virtual learning environment is also considerably easier than simply using search engines. Our tutor will send us links straight to web pages for valuable research information that we might have spent a lot of time looking for without the right guidance. Virtual learning doesnt really replace the classroom, because it is the classroom, once you are familiarised with the technology which if you can already use a computer to go online, is fairly straightforward.

For my marketing courses (http://www.kaplanopenlearning.org.uk/courses/internet-marketing.html), the syllabus, student registration, course notice boards, reading materials, assessment and authoring tools are all readily available in a seamless online format. Its not just the content of the course that I find valuable, but the design of the web pages they are easy to read and link through to relevant resources and previous modules - and the technology behind everything that (hopefully) allows me to breeze through the course!

The important thing about the virtual learning environment and from my experience so far on my course is that it has to work; it has to educate the learner. Given that my knowledge of Internet Marketing has now translated into sound skills and experience for my job, I have to say that it does.

			<title>Renewal, Hope, and Optimisming</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Renewal-Hope-and-Optimisming.html</link>
			<description>
As the weather warms, long-buried seeds of possibility start to wake and strive towards the light. Spring brings new beginnings and new energy into our lives. What will you plant in your garden this year?

Optimism is a large part of gardening. You rake the ground, bury the seeds, water and weed and wait. The work you do in a garden doesnt necessarily give an immediate return, but youre sustained by the thought of your eventual harvest of succulent fruits, nutritious vegetables, or beautiful and sweet-smelling flowers.

This spring, what will you plant? Like seeds, even small changes in your life can yield large results. But remember that even though a seed planted will often grow by itself, the best crops come from well-tended garden plots. Once your garden is established - once youve made the decision to change jobs, or start a creative hobby, or improve your communication skills - dont just walk away and hope for the best.

No, thats when its time to start optimisming. No such word I hear you say. Well, there certainly should be is my very definite response to that. Optimism is such a powerful force that it needs to be a verb, because optimism without action is dangerously close to merely wishful thinking. For those who are serious about achieving their goals in life, being optimistic has to be about action and habitual behaviours. Your positive mental attitude needs to be balanced by an I can, I will philosophy of life. Dynamic optimism helps to make your mind more alert and open to opportunities, your imagination and creative powers more active; it will make you more enthusiastic about the challenges of life and, in all likelihood, will help to increase your willpower to succeed. Effective optimists are rational and objective-focused, just as much as they are positive.

Good harvests come from productive activity focused on a goal, with the expectation of a positive outcome. This expectation is important: optimism strengthens your sense of purpose and clarity. You dont tend a garden with the constant thought of I hate vegetables, and it will all rot before I can pick it anyway. Or if so, perhaps youve planted the wrong things!

Optimism is the fertiliser that nourishes your emotional and spiritual garden. Apply it regularly, in thought and deed, and watch your garden grow strong and healthy!

			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Malta-The-Natural-Home-For-Learning-English.html</link>
			<description>
Are you currently seeking a reputable facility to learn the English language and improve your career prospects?

How would you like to learn English while enjoying warm days and an absence of cloudy weather? Malta has been known for many things through the years, but now can be known for teaching the English language.

Malta is home to many widely popular private schools teaching the English language. In 2006 alone, over 65,000 foreign students visited Malta to participate in English courses. The projected statistics for future students continue to show more and more are turning to this Mediterranean island for their studies.

The typical age group for those attending English studies range from late teens to late 20s. This young crowd has brought a new life to Malta and has greatly helped the location through both tourism and education. Statistics have proven that students in their early 20s are more apt to stay three weeks to a month at a time. The most popular ethnicity of attendees is German, with such countries as Italy and Russia slightly trailing behind.

How did this country arrive at this level of interest and expertise? Malta is a former British colony, and Prince Phillip and the Queen lived there prior to her coronation. Due to this heavy presence, Malta has retained much of the English influence and helps others become fluently acquainted with the language.

Many reasons are given for this attraction, but most revolve around Malta's beautiful summer weather. This season is when learn English language courses are at their peak attendance. There are no cold winds or fogs or bad weather. Rainfall is minimal year-round.

English is a widely spoken language in Malta. Due to the British presence, many families still speak English as a first language. Most populated areas of the island feature banks and ATMs, perfect for the travelling student who wants to learn English (http://www.yourmalta.com/english).

Malta may be the greatest place in the world for automobile exploration, as rental cars are very affordable and fuel is equally economical. Malta is also known for holding many 'fiestas'. There is also a wide variety of shops and boutiques featuring goods of all kinds, including Malta glass, pottery and wrought iron ornaments.

Those with religious affiliations will feel welcomed in one of Malta's 300 churches for faiths ranging from Catholic to Greek Orthodox to Jewish and Methodist, among others.

The water of the island is completely clean and safe for consumption, yet it does contain some high levels of mineral content. Their presence in the water causes stomach upset for some; however, bottled water is readily available. Doctors and pharmacists are available, and your motel or host family will quickly refer you to someone should you require medical treatment.

Drugs of all types are strictly forbidden on the island of Malta. Those transporting substances will be punished for possession unless all such materials are declared through customs. Despite the regulations involved, Malta does have a healthy nightlife. Visitors are always welcomed at any of the nightclubs on the island.

Malta is a new trend for learning the English language. Visitors are sure to return after their studies to enjoy what this island has to offer.

			<title>Decision Making - A Successful Decision Includes Action.</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Decision-Making-A-Successful-Decision-Includes-Action.html</link>
			<description>
Making a decision without taking appropriate action is no decision at all. There is a huge difference between deciding to do something and actually taking action to get the thing done.

&quot;Remember, a real decision is measured by the fact that you've taken new action. If there's no action, you haven't truly decided.&quot; Anthony Robbins

We all know folks who make the same New Year's resolutions year after year and yet nothing changes. Perhaps you fall into that category. If no consistent action is taken, things will remain the same. People choose to create new circumstances for themselves or they let things happen to them.

If you follow your decisions with actions, they will be greeted with success. Make the decision to go forward and then adjust your decision along the way - making it right as you go.

&quot;Sometimes you make the right decision, sometimes you make the decision right.&quot; Dr Phil

Do not cause yourself extra headaches and problems by worrying ahead of time, about how all the details will be worked out.

Also, be careful not to fall into the trap of wanting microwave results or falling victim to discussions of why things cannot be done.

One of the problems in our society is that we have grown to fear making mistakes, rather than seeing the error as simply feedback and information to use, in adjusting our course. This fear of making a mistake is frequently so strong that we get into paralysis by analysis, when attempting to make new decisions. We spend all of our time getting ready to be ready, in order to do what we anticipate doing. The time goes by, and once again nothing gets accomplished.

There is no such thing as failure until you make the decision to quit. Then you have made a decision to fail.

Perhaps the fear you hold is the fear of success. You may be subconsciously worried about how your friends and family will react to you if you change, grow and achieve what you desire. In that case you might be sabotaging your own desired results by holding back on making the decisions that would allow you to advance.

The monkey chatter in your head may sound like this?

Should I quit or should I stay?
Do I love him/her or do I leave?
Do I watch T.V. or do I exercise?
Do I say it or do I keep my mouth shut?
Do I start a business or do I stay at my job forever?

Indecision causes internal conflict and can lead to ambivalence.
It is the one factor that has cost people more than they will ever know.

&quot;Indecision is debilitating; it feeds upon itself; it is, one might almost say, habit-forming. Not only that, but it is contagious; it transmits itself to others.&quot; H. A. Hopf

Indecision leading to ambivalence is a symptom of something deeper. If you cannot make a decision on things that are important to you, you may want to explore the area of self-esteem.

People who can make decisions and adjust their course along the way have a strong sense of self-esteem. They are not afraid of making a mistake. Should they make one, they simply pick themselves up and keep going.

What is your indecisiveness costing you?
It is important to remember that you are to make the decision where you are at this moment, in space and time, with the knowledge and tools you currently have. When you decide not to act it may seem like you are protecting yourself, but in reality you are starting to suffocate. Like nature, if you are not growing you are dying.

One of the most valuable lessons I have ever learned came from Mr. Bob Proctor, the grandfather of personal development himself.
He says,&quot; There was some discussion about money around me. I pointed out that money had nothing to do with it. Once you make the decision you will find the money ... every time. If that is the only benefit you receive from this particular message on decision-making, burn it into your mind. It will change your life. I explained to two of these people that I never let money enter my mind when I am deciding whether I will or will not do something. Whether I can afford it or not is never a consideration. Whether I want to or not is the only consideration. You can afford anything; there is an infinite supply of money. All of the money in the world is available to you, when the decision is firmly made. If you need money, you will attract it.

I am well aware there is any number of people who will say that the above is absurd - that you cant decide to do something if you do not have the necessary resources. And thats fine if that is the way they choose to think.

To me that is a very limiting way of thinking. In truth, it probably is not thinking at all ... it is very likely an opinion that was inherited from older member of their family who did not think either.

Thinking is very important. Decision makers are great thinkers. Do you ever give consideration to your thoughts and how they affect the various aspects of your life?

Although this should be one of our most serious considerations, for many people it is not. There are only a small percentage of folks who make any attempt to control or govern their thoughts.
History shows us that all great leaders have one attribute in common and that is they do not make the mistake that 97% of the people do - which is letting circumstance dictate their actions.

Circumstances can and may cause some delays or detours but they should not be permitted to stop you from going forward. When the decision is made to go forward, the how will show up. People will be inspired and the answers they seek will appear. Ways will show up where there were none. Believe....

Taking the responsibility to make decisions that are right for you, and following up on these decisions with actions, will actually clear your mind of clutter. It will bring you a sense of peace and you will start seeing some successful results.

<title>Decision Making-Knowing Why You Want Something Is Crucial To Successfully Implementing Decisions</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Decision-Making-Knowing-Why-You-Want-Something-Is-Crucial-To-Successfully-Implementing-Decisions.html</link>
			<description>
Have you taken the first step to move you towards the powerful decisions you have recently made? If the answer is Yes, congratulations! If the answer is No, there is a good possibility that the reason lies in one very small but extremely powerful word - WHY.

It has been said in many books, in seminars all over the world that the reason people do not become what they want to be, do not achieve what they want or receive what they desire is because they have not identified with WHY they want what they want.

You can decide to access all of the best resources, seek out a wealth of fabulous information, choose to work with top coaches, but if you do not know deep down, why you are wanting what you want, you will get discouraged at the first signs of difficulty. You are likely going to decide to give up when you encounter your first challenges. It is absolutely crucial to your wellbeing and success to understand the power of why in your decision-making.

Before continuing on, let me remind you of a story that has been told many times and credited to various people.

On one particular day there was a woman who stepping outside of her home saw her young child stuck under a car. Under normal circumstances she would of never been able to budge the vehicle. Seeing her son lying there trapped, she suddenly had an incredible strength and energy. This woman was able to lift the car and save her child. After the crisis, she herself could not explain how she had done what she had done.

Folks, she had an extremely powerful - why. This woman loved her child dearly and wanted him saved. Some of you have your own stories of a time where you did something that was &quot;superhuman like&quot; in order to get the job done. That moment, hour, week or month contained a powerful why. We have all come across people who when asked how they achieved their desires, have answered, &quot;I really really wanted it&quot;,

Knowing why you want a change in your situation will help you deal with the procrastination, with the shyness, with the tiredness, with the lack of money, with whatever obstacle that is stopping you from moving forward. Otherwise that initial good intention and that burst of energy will wither and possibly die too quickly.

Now let's define what knowing your why really signifies. It means knowing why something is important to you and making the decision as to why you must have it. It is recognizing how achieving what you want will make you feel. It is understanding what achieving your desired goal will bring in your personal life and how it will positively impact those closest to you. A why has strong powerful positive emotions tied to it. It is having an overwhelming desire, a burning fire in your belly. It is the big reason behind why you are doing something.

Now here are examples of everyday situations where people fail to clearly identify the why.

Situation #1 - I am going to lose 20 pounds. Reason: I want to be leaner. Within a few weeks they leave their designated plan and slip back into their old habits. Their reason sounded nice but was not powerful.
A powerful why in this case could be:
- I want to feel attractive.
- I deserve to have a body that I am proud of.
- I want to like what I see in the mirror every morning.
- I will breathe easier and will be able to walk up the steps without huffing and puffing.
- I want to have energy to play with my children and see the smiles on their faces.
- I will feel and look great in my jeans.

Situation #2- I am going to work at improving my financial situation. Reason: I need more money to pay the bills. This sounds practical and necessary but does not have much emotional juice to it.
A powerful why could be:
- I want my family to have a holiday and have fun together.
- I do not want to depend on others for financial help.
- My family deserves to know that there will always be resources for the necessities and more.
- I will not let my dreams and my life pass me by.

&quot; It's not hard to make decisions when you know what your values are.&quot; Roy Disney

You need to be honest with yourself. The reasons behind the decisions need to be right for you in order to have successful decision-making. You deserve to be more, to achieve more, and to have more because you are you. You need to believe that you deserve to start making changes and to go forward with your life.

We all have our unique life situations to deal with. Some people want an improvement in their relationships. Some want to derive fulfillment from their work. Others want to be home to raise their children, and still others want better health. Whatever your situation you need to decide that change is possible and that the real magic exists inside of you. It may require time, patience, greater self-discipline or all three, but the results will be well worth the ride.

&quot; In any moment of decision the best thing you can do is the right thing, the next best thing is the wrong thing, and the worst thing you can do is nothing.&quot; Theodore Roosevelt

In a nutshell, here are 3 steps for successful decision making and moving towards your intentions:

1. Decide what it is you want.

2. Spend time with yourself and figure out why you want what you want.

Ask yourself how achieving that intention will improve your life? Also ask what will be the cost of not achieving your goal. What pain will that keep you in?

3. Write out your why using words that describe how you will feel when you achieve your goal. Use words that bring up powerful positive emotions for you. Post your why somewhere where you can see it every day. Focus on those reasons for several minutes each day. Remind yourself why it is you are doing what you are doing.

Personally I believe there is much to gain from the following.

Don't wish it were easier; apply yourself to be better.
Don't wish for less problems; learn more skills.
Don't wish for less challenges; seek out more wisdom.

Once you have identified with your powerful WHY, the resistance you currently sense will gradually disappear and you will follow through on your new, more effective decisions with greater ease and grace. Success will be yours much faster!

<title>Make Clear Decisions On What You Want To Be, Do, Have and Achieve Success Faster.</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Make-Clear-Decisions-On-What-You-Want-To-Be-Do-Have-and-Achieve-Success-Faster.html</link>
			<description>
In order to transform your life, you must take the time to decide what you want that transformation to look like. In other words what do you want to Be, Do, and Have?

Most people do not live the life of their dreams because they have never taken the time to decide on their desires, and hence cannot start taking the steps to get there.

&quot; It's in your moments of decision that your destiny is shaped.&quot; Anthony Robins

Taking a personal inventory by asking your-self some simple questions is the first step to making effective decisions.

What does a successful, fulfilling, and happy life look and feel like to you?

What is currently working well in your life and what is not?
What do you want to see manifest for yourself short term and long term?
Why do you want to change in your circumstances and how will that make you feel?
How will you feel in 1 year or 5 years time if nothing changes?

Open your mind to possibilities. To everything that currently exists there are two sides; first there is a conceptual side and then there is a physical side. Everything is first a thought before it becomes a manifestation.

The architect sees the fabulous building with the exquisite design in his mind, before he decides to get to work on the blue prints.

You need to first see the desired changes in your mind, and feel the excitement before you see it manifest in your life. Only then will you make successful decisions and take actions that will lead you to your desired outcomes.

Allow yourself to start dreaming again. This is a time of stimulation and of anticipation. What can you imagine blooming for you?

By the way, it is as much work to dream small as it is to dream BIG. So you may as well dream big.

Once you decide on the changes you would like to see for yourself, then, it is time to start taking inspired action. Remember, not everything and everyone around you needs to be perfect before you attempt to improve your life. If you work on yourself the things and people around you will automatically start changing for the better. You will also start to attract the resources, people, events, and circumstances that will help you move towards your desired success.

The day I personally gave up being CEO of the universe and thinking that I needed to &quot;fix&quot; things, and decided to focus more on improving myself internally, everything started to run smoother.

&quot; If you put off everything &quot;till you're sure of it, you'll get nothing done.&quot; Norman Vincent Peale

In our western culture we have for the most part been led to believe that we need to have certain things before we can do what we want, and then we will begin to be the person we want to be.

We say things like, &quot; When I have more time or more energy I will start thinking about changing careers.&quot; &quot; When the kids are grown I will start to travel.&quot; You could be waiting for a very long time. You may have already noticed that the time is never just right to take the decisions that will lead you to success.

That's because we have the process completely backwards.

The recipe is as follows: You must first be the person you want to be, so that you can then do what you are inspired to do. Then by following your heart, you will start having what you desire.

Once again, everything starts with a thought. Our thoughts repeated over and over again lead to our beliefs. We make decisions and take actions based around our beliefs. Our actions lead to our results or so called having. It is therefore in your best interest to become the master of your thoughts.

You cannot start the process of transformation by waiting to have what you want. It just does not work that way.

Whether the decision is to be the captain of your sports team, the recognized leader in your company or a multiple 6 figure income earner, you first need to start being that person.

Look around and observe how these folks whom you admire are being. Which decisions are they making? How are they carrying themselves? How are they speaking? What kind of presence do they exude? Are they being more open minded, more generous of spirit, more loving and forgiving in nature? How relaxed are they? Are they taking time to be quiet and reflective?

We are called human beings and not human doings, for a reason. We must take the time to Be first.

Once you have identified how those you look up to are being, decide on one or two things that you can start addressing in your character, and proceed to Being more of what you want to ultimately be.

Next you will need to make a decision on how you wish to redistribute your time in order to move towards your desired outcomes. Which activities will you choose to give up, even if you enjoy them, in order to replace them with more productive ones that include personal development?

Remember, you will need to set time aside each day, for yourself. Now, before you sabotage yourself by saying, &quot;I don't have time for that.&quot; Ask yourself: &quot; What will it cost me /what pain will I experience if I do not change the decisions I have made so far in my life?

As you practice new thought patterns that lead to more empowering and successful decisions you will find that your external world is starting to shift. The changes may appear to be small at first, but with time, these accumulated small changes will have a significant impact on your life.

You will experience the things you want because your new thoughts serve you better and your decision-making is more effective.

			<title>SEEING THROUGH THE EYES OF A CHILD&amp;apos;S MIND</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/SEEING-THROUGH-THE-EYES-OF-A-CHILDaposS-MIND.html</link>
			<description>
There is a popular saying: Children learn what they live. This statement is so true. There is another saying: And a little child shall lead them; also very true.

Our nine year old son has been entertaining us since he was born. While he was entertaining me this morning before he left for school, I decided to take notes. I will share the things he said this morning. He started out, Last night I was having a dream that a guy was offering me his job as a Dream Watcher. I took the job and in my mind it was seven years later and I got tired of the job, so I turned it over to another dream watcher.

I asked him what else happened, He said, You woke me up to get ready for school. Joel 2 says: And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions and Acts says: And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams (Acts 2:17). I like how scriptures always confirms scripture, that way there is no room for doubt.

Dior continued, next year say I will car pool with you under one condition, you are on time. You make me so mad I am not carpooling with you again: We carpool with a neighbor and she was running late this morning, but Dior is like his father; he likes to be at least half hour early for everything.

There is more. He asked, Mom you know if you are white you are more likely to get a job quicker and one that pays more? If you are Hispanic, they probably will give you the job with less pay and if a black person applies for the job, they are likely to get the job, but with less pay. I asked, Son who told you that? My teacher he replied. And he moved on to another topic. You know what the N word is? I said No- N means no. He said, Never say the N word to a black person, they will knock you out. I asked him, What is the N word? He said, It is a way to make the black people angry.

Then he proceeded: I was watching a T.V. show with Chelsea, who is white and Raven who is black, they both applied for a job and Chelsea got the job. I asked him, Who was more qualified for the job? He answered, Raven was more qualified, but she didnt get it. They used it as a way to show what life is. I was kind of mad when I first saw the episode, but now I dont care because I know that one day God is going fix it all. I am often amazed at the things I hear my son and other children speak, but I am not surprised, because the says: The wolf will live with the lamb, the leopard will lie down with the goat, the calf and the lion and the yearling together; and a little child will lead them (Isaiah 11:6).

It is imperative that adults know that we are our childrens first role models and then the teacher, doctors, movie stars, sport figures and other prominent individuals. They learn form us so our behaviors do matter. I am often reminded of this poem:

Children Learn What They Live

If children live with criticism
They learn to condemn.
If children live with hostility,
They learn to fight
If children live with ridicule
They learn to be shy.
If children live with shame,
They learn to feel guilty.
If children live with encouragement,
They learn confidence
If children live with tolerance,
They learn to be patient
If children live with praise,
They learn to appreciate.
If children live with acceptance
They learn to love.
If children live with approval,
They learn to like themselves.
If children live with honesty,
They learn truthfulness
If children live with security,
They learn to have faith in themselves and others.
If children live with friendliness,
They learn the world is a nice place in which to live.

<title>Waiting For Real Life To Begin</title>
			<link>http://www.e-bookville.com/Waiting-For-Real-Life-To-Begin.html</link>
			<description>
San Francisco, CA A posh penthouse on the west coast. A budding acting career complete with scenes in Basic Instinct and Clint Eastwoods The Deadpool. A day that includes Bentleys and Rolls Royces. A world most people struggle and aspire for years to achieve. But the life everyone else seems to want isnt enough for a man whod rather fight for his definition of freedom.

The ocean for me has always represented mysteryif Im on the beach for more than 6 months I get antsy. Says Theodore Carl Soderberg, author of the new book Uncharted Waters. That is the very life one man gives up for months at a time to follow a need an addiction to the sea.

I was off the water for 15 years, explains Soderberg, using a similar term one would to be off drugs or off booze. He needs the ocean to feel complete. Soderberg achieves his need for freedom in a big gray Navy boat that sails for months at a time. Instead of spending the days in that expensive penthouse, he spends them eating with tin spoons in the mess hall. Instead of spending his nights rubbing elbows with movie stars he shares quarters with burly, bad-smelling bunk-mates.

Some people only feel alive on a motorcycle, shedding their bland gray business suit every Sunday to show off their tattoos and glide down the highway. Some people need music to breathe, pulling a dusty guitar from the back of their closet to hit the cords on weeknights. Some will give up everything the typical American struggles to earn because their spirit is fed by riding the waves.

In his new book, Uncharted Waters Soderberg recalls being a boy at a Yonkers, New York carnival and speeding past the ferris wheels and roller coasters that would have seized the attention of other kids. He was mesmerized he says by the boat rides spinning in circular basins just five feet deep and the force compelling him to dunk his hands in the cool water.

Sooner or later, all men with a hunger try to put the yearning aside. They try to become normal. They try to ignore that one, distinct, screaming passion only they can hear. They try to blend with the rest of the world and have a typical life. Does it ever really work?

The addiction to the sea called him home at the age of 38. I got in a mess of a motorcycle accident on one of Californias freeways, and hit the pavement at about 50 miles an hour. Soderberg walked away without an outward scar, but forever changed on the inside. He was compelled to re-examine his life and head back to where he belongs. Within a year he was with a reserve unit at Mare Island in Bahrain in the Iraq/Iran war.

While the rest of the world follows stock market fluctuations or housing trends or the latest political debates, Soderberg floats a world away to wherever the Merchant Marines, and the waves, take him.

It is possible Theodore Carl Soderberg is inside every American. It is possible every American has a part of them consumed with a passion or a desire few others would understand.

Soderberg asks every American, If you could walk away from the life youve worked so hard to earn the life everyone wants what is it that would set you free?
